It's been a while since an update, this is because I've been busy rebuilding the engine from scratch. While this doesn't mean a lot for Noodle Knight, it does mean a lot for the engine and future projects. The engine's source is also viewable on my github too now!


Requires dotnet 6.0 runtime

Crashes may be possible although none specifically are known of

Currently Unavailable Features

Player two cannot be controlled

No cheats menu

Noodle Knight does not use their big screen attack

Mega Man only has partial cpu behavior

Shovel Knight has no cpu behavior

Only Shovel Knight does a victory dance


Known Issues

 It is possible to die after opponent has been defeated

It is impossible for player one Noodle Knight to defeat player two Noodle Knight

 Some hitboxes may not be perfectly aligned

 Shovel dropping on Noodle Knight usually hits Shovel Knight as well

 Mega Man's death particles do not animate

 Both players being the same character plays animations faster than intended

 Some menu icons are visible when they should not be
